EX5-Alive Support
As part of our hub, we offer a wide range of free groups running at different times throughout the week, month, and year.
Everyone in our community is welcome to get involved and help our community grow.
All of our services are based in Cranbrook, giving residents easy access to a variety of support and activities close to home.
Together, let’s share the responsibility of building a stronger community.
Our Services
Our Support
All across the UK, families are doing their best to get through the cost of living rises. We know how tough it can feel trying to juggle everything. That’s why EX5-Alive is here to support you. We can point you towards the right organisations, or give hands-on help with things like food, debt worries, and wellbeing.
Sometimes it just helps to share what’s on our minds. And remember — you’re not alone, many others are going through the same challenges. At the hub, we offer friendly one-to-one support to help you feel more in control and get back to where you want to be.
We are all in it together
As your local community hub, we do our best to keep costs as low as possible for families — though we know this isn’t always easy. That’s why we offer free activities throughout the week, helping to close gaps in the community and making sure everyone feels welcome, no matter their background.
At EX5-Alive CIC, we are guided by a team of 8 dedicated directors who are committed to supporting local residents. Together, we’ve built strong, trusted connections so that all of our partners can work with confidence — always putting your best interests first.
Below, you’ll also find a range of signposting services to help with managing household challenges during these difficult times.
Signposting in the Community
All the services below either run from our hub or work together in improving how we live in Cranbrook. It's important to us that everyone has a voice in our community as well as being represented within our community.

EAL Coordinator
As part of EX5-Alive we have an amazing EAL Coordinator who helps to support our migrant families. The role ensures our families get the support they need within the community and advocate for the child's voice. Many of our families have made harrowing journeys to get to a place of safety to find life is also complicated in the UK. Here are EX5-Alive we will continue to hear and find resolution for these families who want the same start, rights and access as everyone else. We believe that everyone deserves equal opportunity and we will thrive to make sure our children are hear.

Why not volunteer in Cranbrook?
We know it’s not always easy to put yourself forward, but our community relies on volunteers. Imagine if everyone gave just one hour a week — Cranbrook could become the most vibrant town in the UK! With national services stretched more than ever, each of us has the power to make a real difference right here at home.
Cranbrook has one of the youngest populations in the country, and it shouldn’t fall only on our retired residents or a small group of people to make things happen. If we want more in our town, we all need to play a part in creating it.
Volunteering is one of the best ways to get involved — not only does it make our community stronger, but it can also boost your social life, build your confidence, and even open new career opportunities. The change you’re looking for starts with you.
